Samsung kicked off September with a bang by releasing the One UI 8 Beta Program right on the first day of the month. The update isn’t just limited to the flagship Galaxy S23 lineup – several mid-range A-series devices are also included from the very beginning.
One UI 8 Beta is Available on These Phones
- Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra
- Galaxy A36
- Galaxy A35
- Galaxy A55
- Galaxy A54
This early rollout shows that Samsung is giving equal importance to both flagship and mid-range smartphones.
Foldables and Tablets Still Waiting
For now, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S10 series are not part of the beta program. Samsung is likely ensuring stability before expanding the rollout to foldables and tablets.

Stable Version Release Timeline
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to receive the stable One UI 8 update later this month, right after its final One UI 7-based September security patch.
If you want to try the beta, simply open the Samsung Members app and sign up. The package is around 2GB, so make sure you have enough storage and a strong Wi-Fi connection. Remember, beta versions can be unstable and may contain bugs.
